Grand Dussehra Celebration Lights Up R.K.International School, Nabahi


 

Nabahi, [23rd October,2023] – The spirit of Dussehra shone brightly at R.K. International School in Nabahi as students, teachers, and the local community came together to celebrate the triumph of good over evil in a grand and vibrant fashion.

The celebration, which took place on the school grounds, was a visual spectacle that left everyone in awe. The event commenced with an enchanting puja ceremony, where the school’s staff and students gathered around a beautifully adorned idol of Goddess Durga to seek her blessings. The air was filled with devotion and the sweet fragrance of incense.

The highlight of the evening was the meticulously crafted effigy of Ravana, the demon king, which stood tall at the center of the school’s courtyard. The crowd watched in anticipation as the effigy was set ablaze, symbolizing the victory of Lord Rama over the forces of evil. The crackling flames and the cheers of the onlookers created a mesmerizing atmosphere.

 

To add to the festive fervor, the students presented a series of cultural performances. The traditional Ram Leela reenactment was a definite showstopper, as the young talents brought to life the epic tale of Lord Rama’s heroic journey. Dressed in vibrant costumes, they enthralled the audience with their acting skills and devotion to the narrative.

Mr.S.K.Sharma, the Principal of R.K. International School, expressed his gratitude to all participants and attendees, emphasizing the importance of preserving and passing on the cultural traditions. “Dussehra is not just a festival; it’s a reminder of the power of truth, goodness, and righteousness. This celebration reinforces those values in our students and the community,” he said.
